Mr. Shevenell is the Chair of the firm’s Liability and HOA Practice Groups, and he provides additional litigation, coverage, and trial support on first party property and insurance coverage matters. During his legal career, Mr. Shevenell has represented insurance companies and corporations in a variety of insurance-related matters throughout the State of Florida and New Jersey. He has also successfully represented condominium and homeowners’ association clients as both litigation and in-house counsel. Mr. Shevenell oversaw his prior firm’s expansion into New Jersey following Superstorm Sandy. Aside from his extensive civil litigation background, Mr. Shevenell has further represented clients in appeals before the Second District Court of Appeal. Mr. Shevenell is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida, as well as Maine and New Jersey.
Mr. Shevenell is an avid outdoorsman, who enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, and motorsports with his family, including the four-legged ones too of course! He and his wife, also enjoy traveling to new and exciting destinations around the world to experience new cultures. While admittedly an “adrenaline junkie,” when he is not pushing the limits of gravity, or engaging in extreme sports, he also enjoys the peace, enjoyment, and calm of the beauty of nature, an exquisite meal, a great cocktail, and some live music.
