Stephen N. Rampaul is a partner, focusing his practice on matters related to subrogation, product liability, premises liability, negligence, construction defect, and contract disputes. Prior to joining Salmon Salmon Labbe Dehne, P.A., Mr. Rampaul served as an experienced litigation attorney at a law firm, practicing in first-party property insurance defense. Mr. Rampaul was also a managing attorney at a statewide law firm, where he handled various types of insurance related disputes.
Mr. Rampaul was born in Kingston, Jamaica, where he earned his Bachelor of Law (“LL.B.”), from the University of Technology. He then migrated to the United States and pursued his Juris Doctor (J.D.) and master’s degree in Intercultural Human Rights (“LL.M”) at St. Thomas University School of Law, where he received the CALI Book Award in Evidence. While pursuing his J.D., Mr. Rampaul interned at the Lawson E. Thomas Court Center, and clerked for a boutique law firm, working in insurance defense.
