Annie joined Salmon, Salmon, Labbe & Dehne after earning her J.D. with distinction from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, where she received the Trustee Merit Scholarship for academic excellence. She is also a graduate of the University of Georgia.
As a member of the firm’s Trial Group, Annie focuses her practice on property damage litigation, representing insurance carriers in first-party property disputes across Florida. She regularly advises and defends insurers on issues involving coverage, bad faith, and unfair claims settlement practices, collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other experts to develop case strategies grounded in technical accuracy and evidentiary precision.
Annie is known for identifying procedural and evidentiary weaknesses in disputed claims, particularly relating to delayed reporting, inconsistent damages, and inadequate documentation. Her approach emphasizes the careful application of policy terms, conditions, and exclusions to effectively narrow or resolve claims. She has successfully argued motions for summary judgment, dismissal, and the exclusion of expert testimony, achieving favorable outcomes through strategic and results-driven advocacy.
Annie is a member of the Orlando Claims Association, Tampa Bay Claims Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Hillsborough County Bar Association, and St. Petersburg Bar Association. She is committed to professional growth and industry engagement and enjoys attending conferences and association meetings where she connects with clients, vendors, and other professionals in the insurance defense community.
Outside of the office, Annie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their three dogs. She can often be found running along the waterfront, relaxing at the beach, or exploring local breweries. She has participated on charity teams in support of the Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, causes that are close to her heart.
Originally from Georgia, Annie remains a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and proudly supports her favorite New England teams. She brings the same enthusiasm to her practice that she does to every game day.
